Health Care Bill facts:

 

 

 

 

 

There are many myths about the proposed current healthcare bill HR3200. We have recieved many emails and would like to set the record straight with what this bill says. Below are some of the key points that we feel are worth people knowing. We ALWAYS encourage peaple to read the entire bill for themselves. It is a big bill, but anybody CAN read and understand this.

There have been a lot of back and forth on the issue of public money going for abortion. The House outright rejected a bill on straight party lines that would have limited abortion to cases of Rape, Incest, or when the life of the mother was in danger. The current ammendment would allow at least ONE of the 3 public option plans, in each area of the country. Read that ammendment HERE

Page 30 - A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get.

SEC. 123. HEALTH BENEFITS ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

    (a) Establishment-

      (1) IN GENERAL- There is established a private-public advisory committee which shall be a panel of medical and other experts to be known as the Health Benefits Advisory Committee to recommend covered benefits and essential, enhanced, and premium plans.

       

Page 50: All non-US citizens, illegal or not, will be provided with  free healthcare services.

SEC. 152. PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION IN HEALTH CARE.

    (a) In General- Except as otherwise explicitly permitted by this Act and by subsequent regulations consistent with this Act, all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services.

 

Page 58: Every person will be issued a National  ID Healthcard.

(D) enable the real-time (or near real-time) determination of an individual's financial responsibility at the point of service and, to the extent possible, prior to service, including whether the individual is eligible for a specific service with a specific physician at a specific facility, which may include utilization of a machine-readable health plan beneficiary identification card;

 

Page 59: The federal government will have direct, real-time access to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.

(C) enable electronic funds transfers, in order to allow automated reconciliation with the related health care payment and remittance advice;

 

Page 102: Those eligible  for Medicaid will be automatically enrolled: you have no choice in the matter.

AUTOMATIC ENROLLMENT OF MEDICAID ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS INTO MEDICAID- The Commissioner shall provide for a process under which an individual who is described in section 202(d)(3) and has not elected to enroll in an Exchange-participating health benefits plan is automatically enrolled under Medicaid.

 

Page 124: No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No "judicial review" is permitted against the government monopoly.

(f) Limitations on Review- There shall be no administrative or judicial review of a payment rate or methodology established under this section or under section 224.

 

Page 150: Any employer with
a payroll of $250K-400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays a 2
to 6% tax on payroll.

 

      IN GENERAL- In the case of any employer who is a small employer for any calendar year, subsection (a) shall be applied by substituting the applicable percentage determined in accordance with the following table for `8 percent':
If the annual payroll of such employer for the preceding calendar year: 
		The applicable percentage is: 
     Does not exceed $250,000                           0 percent 
     Exceeds $250,000, but does not exceed $300,000     2 percent 
     Exceeds $300,000, but does not exceed $350,000     4 percent 
     Exceeds $350,000, but does not exceed $400,000     6 percent 

 

Page 167: Any individual who doesn't' have
acceptable healthcare (according to the government) will be taxed 2.5% of income.

SEC. 59B. TAX ON INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT ACCEPTABLE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE.

    `(a) Tax Imposed- In the case of any individual who does not meet the requirements of subsection (d) at any time during the taxable year, there is hereby imposed a tax equal to 2.5 percent of the excess of--
      `(1) the taxpayer's modified adjusted gross income for the taxable year, over
      `(2) the amount of gross income specified in section 6012(a)(1) with respect to the taxpayer.

 

Page 170: Any NON-RESIDENT alien is exempt from
individual taxes (Americans will pay for them).

(2) NONRESIDENT ALIENS- Subsection (a) shall not apply to any individual who is a nonresident alien.

 

Pg 195: Officers & employees of the Healthcare Administration will have access to ALL Americans' finances and personal records.

        A) IN GENERAL- The Secretary, upon written request from the Health Choices Commissioner or the head of a State-based health insurance exchange approved for operation under section 208 of the America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009, shall disclose to officers and employees of the Health Choices Administration or such State-based health insurance exchange, as the case may be, return information of any taxpayer whose income is relevant in determining any affordability credit described in subtitle C of title II of the America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009. Such return information shall be limited to--
          `(i) taxpayer identity information with respect to such taxpayer,
          `(ii) the filing status of such taxpayer,
          `(iii) the modified adjusted gross income of such taxpayer (as defined in section 59B(e)(5)),
          `(iv) the number of dependents of the taxpayer,

Pg 203: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax." [Yes, it says that.]

4) NOT TREATED AS TAX IMPOSED BY THIS CHAPTER FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES- The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax imposed by this chapter for purposes of determining the amount of any credit under this chapter or for purposes of section 55.'.

 

PG 429: "Advanced care consultation" may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from the Government to end a life!

(4) A consultation under this subsection may include the formulation of an order regarding life sustaining treatment or a similar order.

 

844-845 This Home Visitation Program includes Government
coming into your house
& telling you how to parent!!!

        (A) means expenditures to provide voluntary home visitation for as many families with young children (under the age of school entry) and families expecting children as practicable, through the implementation or expansion of high quality home visitation programs that--
          `(i) adhere to clear evidence-based models of home visitation that have demonstrated positive effects on important program-determined child and parenting outcomes, such as reducing abuse and neglect and improving child health and development;
